SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

SCMA ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

The Annual Membership Meeting of the Southwest Celtic Music Association will take place in the SCMA offices starting at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 27th, 2008. All current members are invited to attend and participate in the meeting.

The deadline for completion of ballots for the election of new Board members is the start of the meeting, votes will be counted and new Board members announced during the course of the meeting. You may bring your completed ballots to the meeting if you wish.

Extract from the Byelaws of the Association:

3.01 An annual meeting of the members shall be held on the last Saturday of September each year, beginning with the year 1985, at the hour of 10 o’clock, a.m., for the transaction of such business as may come before the meeting. If the day fixed for the annual meeting shall be on a legal holiday in the State of Texas, such meeting shall be held on the next succeeding business day.
